In 1954 my mom bought my younger brother a Silvertone guitar and Amp from Sears. A few years later he got tired of it and I wound up with it.

I always made sure that it was well stored and checked on very frequently. The total package cost 350.00 dollars. The are both in pristine condition.

It was always my desire to learn to play the guitar, but one thing led to another and I never did. I have recently started to learn how to play.

Today this same guitar is selling on e-Bay by dealers for 5500.00 dollars. As you probably would guess by now I am one happy person. I could of sold it many times, but because it belonged to my brother I always kept it,especially now that he is no longer with us.
